By accessing or using FinSavvy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Not financial advice

FinSavvy is an educational tool and does not provide regulated financial advice.

All projections, calculations, and AI-generated responses are for informational and educational purposes only. They are based on the data you provide and general financial modelling. FinSavvy is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to provide financial advice.

You should consult a qualified financial adviser before making any investment, pension, mortgage, or debt decisions.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United Kingdom to use FinSavvy. By using the Service, you confirm you meet these requirements.

4. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
  • You must not share your account with others
  • You must provide accurate information when setting up your profile
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

5. Subscription and payment

  • FinSavvy offers a free plan and a Pro plan at £4.99/month
  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise our systems
  • Share your account access with third parties

7. AI-generated content

The AI Coach feature is powered by Anthropic's Claude model. Responses are generated based on the financial data you provide. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated responses. Always verify important financial information independently.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FinSavvy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial losses arising from reliance on projections or AI-generated content.

9. Intellectual property

All content, design, and code within the FinSavvy platform is the intellectual property of FinSavvy. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your settings page.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
